Bio

In 2007, I developed an interest in film scoring and so decided to return to school. I started at Capilano University in North Vancouver BC for two years and then spent two years studying classical composition at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver BC, Canada. It was at UBC that I met local composer Hal Beckett who taught the film scoring class there. Near the end of the term he put out a posting for an assistant in his studio. I worked an eight month contract for him in 2011 during a very busy production year for him. I gained experience writing on some of his shows as well as writing music for the Leo Awards, BC's film and television awards. I wrote cues for the World Events Production show "Voltron Force" as well as local animated shows "L.O.S.E" and "Rated A for Awesome". Among many other things, not the least of which was director/producer collaboration, and of course writing experience, the job gave me experience with deadlines, some of which were rather tight, as much of his work is in television.

I have scored numerous independent projects outside of work for Mr.Beckett, including a web series called Vita Bella, numerous short films, and a selection of commercial advertising work.

I am always looking for new and interesting projects to work on, whether it be film, television, games or anything else that requires musical enhancement. Please see the contact page if you would like to get in touch with me.
